Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee, delivered a floor speech ahead the vote on the nomination of Chad Readler to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals. Readler was the lead lawyer behind the Trump administration’s decision to side with the Republican attorneys general suing to repeal our health care law. If successful, the lawsuit could strike down pre-existing condition protections and leave millions more Americans uninsured.
