U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) spoke on the Senate floor urging the body to support his joint resolution, introduced with Senators Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Al Franken (D-Minn.) and Mike Lee (R-Utah), to block the $1.15 billion U.S. sale of 153 Abrams tanks and associated major defense articles to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
