WASHINGTON—U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), Chairman of the U.S. Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee on Near East, South Asia, Central Asia, and Counterterrorism, on Wednesday welcomed the opening of an Israeli embassy in the United Arab Emirates:
“This is a big deal that represents another step forward in Israeli-Gulf relations. The United States should continue working with the Israelis, Palestinians, and Gulf partners across the region to create the conditions for long term peace and prosperity in the region,” said Murphy.
