HARTFORD—U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.) on Thursday released his year-end report outlining the work he’s done for Connecticut residents during 2021. Throughout the year, Murphy worked hard to deliver for the people of Connecticut, including billions of dollars in COVID-19 relief through the American Rescue Plan and a historic investment in Connecticut’s roads, rails, and bridges from the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. He also continued fighting to protect Americans from gun violence, improve our health care system, strengthen national security, support domestic manufacturing, and secure federal investments for Connecticut.
“2021 was a challenging year, but that doesn't mean there weren't significant victories for Connecticut. A new vaccine is saving lives, and I've been honored to work with President Biden to get our nation's economy revving again," said Murphy. “It’s an honor to work on behalf of the people of Connecticut. This report is just a snapshot of what we have been able to accomplish together in 2021, and I look forward to listening to the people I represent to understand what I need to be working on in 2022.”
