WALLINGFORD – U.S. Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), announced Pauway Corporation in Wallingford is this week’s “Monday Manufacturer.” Created in 1979, the company’s name is a combination of the names of its founders Wayne and Paulette Rydzy. A family-owned business, now under the direction of Mark Rydzy, Pauway Corp. has established itself as a high-end industrial painter and finishing manufacturer, specializing in the application of aerospace and defense coatings.

For almost 40 years, Pauway Corp. has embraced technological advances and provided quality service to customers in Connecticut and the region. As a vendor to the UTC companies, Raytheon and the U.S. Department of Defense, Pauway Corp. continues to attract a diverse client base with their “think about the finish before the start” motto.

“Pauway Corporation is a local company whose work can be seen across the country,” Murphy said. “I’m proud to recognize Pauway for their exceptional service to Connecticut.”

Pauway Corporation Vice President Mark Rydzy said, “We are delighted to receive this distinction as it reflects our dedication to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction. Our success can be attributed to our focus on quality control, and the time we dedicate to counsel our clients to best meet their needs.”

The manufacturing industry plays a crucial role throughout Connecticut communities, creating new jobs and accelerating our state’s economic recovery. Today, Connecticut’s 4,600 manufacturers account for 10% of the state’s jobs and 87% of the state’s total exports. In order to protect and grow manufacturing jobs in Connecticut, Murphy has introduced two pieces of legislation that aim to strengthen existing standards and prioritize the purchase of American-made goods, the BuyAmerican.gov Act and the American Jobs Matter Act.
