NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — New Haven Mayor Toni Harp and U.S. Senator Chris Murphy stopped in at Reaves Barbershop on Dixwell Ave in New Haven Friday to announce that the city has a new plan to help small businesses get a permit from the city in only 24 hours.
“Small business are the lifeblood of New Haven, but they are also the lifeblood of Connecticut’s economy,” Murphy said. “Two out of every three new jobs that are created in today’s economy are created by small businesses.”
The city will launch some new online tools to help make getting a business permit faster and easier.
